John Ellis "Jeb" Bush served as the 43rd Governor of Florida from 1999 to 2007. He is the second son of former President George H. W. Bush and former First Lady Barbara Bush. Governor Bush is chairman of the Foundation for Excellence in Education, whose purpose is to promote meaningful K-12 reform in the United States. In addition, he is co-chairman of the Barbara Bush Foundation for Family Literacy and is active in many civic and charitable causes. Jeb Bush elevates the conversation on how to address the key challenges facing America today and is often mentioned as a possible Republican presidential candidate for 2016.
