We are thrilled to enter our 5th season at our newest Distinguished Speaker Series location in the “Center” of Southern California…the Long Beach Terrace Theater, an urban waterfront destination that overlooks the bustling Rainbow Harbor, Queensway Bay and miles of sandy Pacific Ocean beachfront. The Terrace Theater is a modern and stylish facility located in the heart of Long Beach’s downtown waterfront. The Terrace welcomes thousands of visitors every year and is one of the first green arenas in the U.S. This facility has 5,800 solar panels atop 400,000 square feet of meeting and event space. The Theater is surrounded by many culinary pockets, including Broadway and W. 3rd Street. Before attending a #SpeakersLA night, we recommend dining or drinking at a local favorite like District Wine, L’Opera, Padre, Ruth’s Chris Steak House, or RISÜ.

Parking
The Long Beach Convention & Entertainment Center has more than 4,000 parking spaces around the Center in three parking garages and one ground level parking lot. Rates may vary by event and are in effect seven days a week. The Terrace Theater Parking Garage is open for Distinguished Speaker Series evenings and has 800 parking spaces. The Main Parking Lot along Shoreline Drive has 1,500 spaces. The Arena Parking Garage and the Promenade Parking Garage is not always available during Distinguished Speaker Series events.

From the Los Angeles International Airport:
Take the San Diego Freeway (405) south to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.
From Long Beach Airport:
Take Lakewood Boulevard south to the San Diego Freeway (405). Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot, or as advised by directional signage.
From the John Wayne (Orange County) Airport:
Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.
From Southern Orange County:
Take the Santa Ana Freeway (5) north to the San Diego Freeway (405). Take the San Diego Freeway (405) north to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.
From North Orange County and the Valleys:
San Gabriel & Pomona Valleys take the Orange Freeway (57) or San Gabriel Freeway (605) to the Riverside Freeway (91) to the Long Beach Freeway (710). Go south on the Long Beach Freeway to the Downtown Exits. (710 then becomes Shoreline Drive). Follow Shoreline Drive to Linden Avenue and into the parking lot or as advised by directional signage.
